In this role, you will oversee the implementation of GPON FTTH plans, considering financial resources, human capabilities, competition, and customer opportunities to achieve profitable objectives.

You will conduct thorough technical evaluations of Access Network infrastructure, including electrical testing of underground cables, physical surveys of OSP facilities, and inspections of ongoing development work in the field of copper and fiber networks to ensure timely implementation.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Developing checklists for technical audits and continuous improvement
  • Preparing weekly/monthly reports on QA activities across all zones
  • Ensuring compliance with administrative, financial, and HR matters related to staff in your region
  • Implementing cost-efficient controls to meet budgets, targets, and deadlines
  • Maintaining adherence to legal, EHS, and ethical standards
  • Monitoring and evaluating reporting employees
  • Providing training to new entrants at supervisor and executive levels
  • Ensuring rigorous testing of new network elements and systems according to approved procedures
  • Analyzing customer complaints and suggesting improvements in fault rectification times to reduce churn

To be successful, you must have:

  • A degree from a recognized university in BE/BSc Engineering, BSCS
  • Relevant experience and skills

Competencies:

  • Good understanding of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and our products/services
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and their impact on business
  • Knowledge of costs, expenses, pricing, competitors, and market rivalry
  • Understanding of fixed access networks, copper, and fiber Knowledge of EHS regulations

Tech Competency:

  • Testing optical fiber cables
  • Knowledge of reading technical drawings
  • Understanding of Pin to Port Plans of Fiber Distribution Hubs (FDH)
  • Knowledge of Access Networks
  • Inspection of re-shipped goods
  • Understanding of IP networks
