Role Overview:

Junior Agronomist Position
  • Agronomist roles are crucial for advancing sustainable farming practices.
  • This Junior Agronomist position involves responsibilities that require experience in vegetable farming, preferably tunnel farming.
Responsibilities:
  1. Assess and monitor crop health and growth at various farm locations.
  2. Offer advice on best practices related to farming, including pest control and nutrient management.
  3. Provide daily reports detailing farm progress.
  4. Maintain adherence to optimal farming methods.
  5. Travel between cities for farm site visits.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Agriculture (minimum requirement).
  2. Previous experience in vegetable farming, preferably with expertise in tunnel farming.
  3. Familiarity with hydroponics farming methods.
  4. Valid driver's license for travel purposes.
  5. Flexibility for relocation and travel.
  6. Strong communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Supervisory experience in managing farm operations.
  2. Familiarity with modern technologies used in agriculture.
