We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional field support, evaluating and upgrading existing systems, and understanding customer needs to tailor automation solutions.

About the Role

This role bridges technical support, engineering, and customer engagement, requiring a unique blend of skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Liaison: Deliver outstanding field support to our customer base, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting services.
  2. System Evaluation and Upgrade: Assess and improve existing systems to enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  3. Customer Needs Assessment: Understand customer requirements and develop tailored automation solutions to meet their business challenges.
  4. On-Site Support: Execute support plans and optimize operations on-site, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  5. Automation Development: Design and deploy small to mid-sized automation solutions across various industries.
  6. System Analysis: Analyze installed systems, identify improvement areas, and document solutions and outcomes.
  7. Incident Resolution: Provide prompt incident and problem resolution via remote and on-site interventions.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams for effective service delivery.
  9. Travel: Travel nationwide to provide hands-on support and implementation.
Requirements:
  1. Automation Platforms: Hands-on experience with automation platforms like Allen Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell Experion; knowledge of Safety Systems (ESD) and other PLC systems is a plus.
  2. Maintenance Practices: Familiarity with maintenance practices including Root Cause Analysis, MTBF/MTBR, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and failure rate studies.
  3. Field Experience: 6–12 months or more of field experience in technical executions.
  4. Troubleshooting and Documentation: Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
  5. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  6. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel as needed.
