Technical Director (Regulation and Spectrum Management)

This is a dynamic position requiring strong technical expertise in the field of ICT or telecom, with preference given to experience in managing radio frequencies or working with communication technologies.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ICT or Telecom, preferably in regulation and spectrum management.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with experience in Fixed and Wireless Communication and Radio Spectrum Management.

The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Computer Engineering from a reputable institution, with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or 75% marks (in annual system).

A successful candidate must have strong knowledge of industry standards such as IEEE, ITU, ETSI, and 3GPP/3GPP2, awareness of the latest technical trends like 5G, OTT (Over-the-Top Services), Cloud Computing, IoT (Internet of Things), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Big Data.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills are required for this position. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing and regulating Pakistan's radio frequency spectrum, ensuring efficient use and preventing interference between different users.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing radio frequency plans, ensuring smooth operation of communication services across the country, and providing technical guidance to various stakeholders.
