We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Audit Manager to lead our audit function. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on operational, financial, regulatory-related audits/reviews. They will also provide guidance on internal control and respond to queries on risk management techniques.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish and execute review plans for financial, regulatory, compliance, or operational processes.
  • Work closely with Risk, Legal, and other control-related teams to foster effective collaboration.
  • Conduct rigorous risk assessments and identify existing controls to mitigate risks.
  • Design and conduct audit procedures to verify control effectiveness through testing and interviews.
  • Evaluate and conclude on the effectiveness and efficiency of the control environment.
  • Identify control weaknesses and propose remediation strategies.
  • Publish audit findings in line with audit department and IIA standards.
  • Deliver timely audit reports to executive management, the Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures.
  • Offer guidance on internal control and contribute to improving internal audit standards and practices.
Key Competencies and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  1. In-depth knowledge of IIA standards and ability to adhere to them.
  2. Proven track record in project management and staff supervision.
  3. Ability to adjust to changing situations, prioritize tasks, and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, problem-solving, and escalation skills.
  5. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  7. Attention to detail with capacity to comprehend complex issues.
  8. Familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, and Visio; experience with ERP and SAP software is beneficial.
