Site Supervisor Job Description

A site supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.

  • Ensure daily tasks align with plans and specifications, providing support to the contractor team while maintaining a strict eye on methodology.
  • Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and resolve issues among workers and subcontractors.
  • Implement and enforce safety regulations, conduct site inspections, and address hazards.
  • Schedule labor, equipment, and materials to meet project deadlines.
  • Track project milestones, identify potential delays, and report progress to project managers.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily logs, safety reports, and other relevant project documentation.
  • Evaluate work against required standards and specifications.
  • Effectively lead teams, communicate with stakeholders, and resolve conflicts.
  • Identify construction issues, find solutions, and escalate when necessary.
  • Understand construction plans, blueprints, and safety regulations.
