Senior Accountant Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in managing complex accounting operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train junior accountants, ensuring they meet high standards of accounting integrity.
  • Review and approve financial transactions, including journal entries and expense reports.
  • Manage accounting systems and software, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports and budgets.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Manage audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in accounting and finance, with experience in supervising and training junior staff.

Main Tasks and Tools:

  • Accounting Operations Management: Supervise and manage accounting operations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports.
  • Accounting Systems Management: Manage accounting systems and software.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Manage audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Tools and Technologies: Microsoft Excel (Advanced user)
