Operations Manager

About the Role:

The Operations Manager will oversee daily ATM operations, including software installations, networking, and hardware upgrades. They will be responsible for developing wireless networking solutions for ATM connectivity, remote monitoring, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily ATM operations to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of services.
  • Develop wireless networking solutions for ATM connectivity, remote monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Manage a team of engineers across different regions, overseeing their performance and implementing a practical performance management system.
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure successful implementation of contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate with client organizations and vendors for routine operations.
  • Assist the Head of Operations in project planning, providing input on project costing, financial projections, and decisions for offsite ATM deployment projects.
  • Analyze ATM performance based on costs and revenues, tracking ATM transactions, and suggesting promotional tools to increase usage.
  • Procure software and hardware as needed.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with various networking topologies, including LAN, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, VPN, CDMA, CDMA2000, WAN, and MAN.
  • Operational knowledge of databases such as SQL Server 2000, MS Access, and Personal Oracle 8.
  • Proficiency in operating systems like Windows 7/Windows Vista/XP/Server/NT/2000/ME, MS-DOS.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Visual Basic 6.0, Crystal Reports 7 & 8, SQL, PL/SQL, Developer 6i.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware maintenance is an asset.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work effectively.
