Business Central Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Central Developer to join our team remotely. This role involves working closely with our Professional Services team to perform development activities for both new and existing Microsoft Dynamics Business Central clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and estimate client modification requests
  • Write code to extend all functional areas of Business Central
  • Test functionality developed by the implementation team against business requirements
  • Deliver modifications to clients
  • Provide pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support
  • Serve as the lead technical expert on the implementation team
  • Develop modifications and create outputs as defined by standard system design lifecycles
  • Assist sales with modification estimates and presales demos in pursuit of new business
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a software developer working with Dynamics Business Central / NAV, with a minimum of 3 years in AL programming language
  • Experience with Business Central 15 and above, especially using events for modifications; experience with prior NAV versions is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Azure Development
  • Experience extending third-party add-on solutions is highly desirable
  • Experience with automated testing is a plus
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, and Azure DevOps is preferred
  • Certifications such as MB-800, AZ-204, AZ-800/900, DP-600 are advantageous
