Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers, as well as overseeing the procurement process from requisition to delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Supplier Management:
    • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on their ability to meet business needs.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to maximize value.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers to identify areas for improvement.
  • Procurement Process Management:
    • Oversee the entire procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, contract negotiation, and delivery.
    • Ensure timely and accurate procurement of goods and services to meet business requirements.
    • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
    • Maintain detailed records of procurement activities and transactions.
  • Cost Management:
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.
    • Implement cost reduction strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
    • Monitor and analyze procurement spend to identify areas for optimization.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure all procurement activities are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Identify and mitigate procurement risks through careful planning and risk assessment.
    • Conduct regular audits and reviews of procurement processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to policy.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and preferences.
    • Provide guidance and support to departments on procurement best practices and policies.
    • Foster a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutual goals.
  • Technology and Data Management:
    • Streamline data management processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
    • Analyze procurement data to inform decision-making and optimize business outcomes.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and growth.
