Procurement Expert

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, procurement, and driving sourcing plans to achieve targets.

  • This role involves obtaining procurement requirements from various stakeholders, analyzing requests, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to devise suitable solutions/sourcing.
  • The successful candidate will negotiate with vendors for procuring goods/services as per received requirements, foster healthy relationships with vendors, and resolve any queries/issues within specified timelines.
  • Additionally, the Procurement Expert will maintain vendor master data, assist with vendor onboarding and qualification processes, develop a sourcing calendar, and prepare procurement plans.
  • They will also prepare negotiation strategies for complex bids, build strong relationships with end-users, and independently manage the end-to-end sourcing cycle.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance/ACCA/Engineering, with 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the Telecom Procurement Industry.

  • Candidates should have knowledge of ERP systems like SAP Ariba and Oracle Fusion, proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in conflict management, decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, and direct procurement process knowledge is also essential.
