Procurement Expertise Sought

We are seeking an accomplished procurement expert to assume a pivotal role within our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing and Contract Management: Obtain quotations from suppliers as per required specifications for purchasing dental equipment, materials, general items, and equipment. Prepare comprehensive comparative statements for required equipment.
  • ERP Systems Administration: Ensure smooth functioning of ERP systems, including the preparation of purchase orders (POs), payment notes (PNs), etc.
  • Discrepancy Resolution and Investigation: Investigate and resolve qualitative and quantitative discrepancies between goods ordered and goods received.
  • Liaison and Monitoring: Liaise with suppliers for pending deliveries and with the finance department for pending payments. Monitor vendor performance regarding the supply of items within a given time frame.
  • Reporting and Coordination: Generate monthly budget variance reports. Coordinate with senior officials for testing, evaluation, and resolution of complaints regarding new product samples.
  • Procurement Process Management: Manage the entire procurement process including estimation, quotations, approval, delivery, inspection, invoicing, and final payment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with ERP systems is essential. Experience with SAP systems is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
