Technology Project Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Technology Project Lead to lead and deliver a range of technology initiatives. This is a full-time position based at our Head Office in {location}, {country_code}.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing technology projects end-to-end, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage technology projects, including infrastructure, software, and system upgrades.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, QA, and support.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and changes.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders, executives, and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • Maintain project documentation including plans, reports, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Manage vendors and third-party service providers as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's or PMP/Prince2 preferred).

Minimum 35 years of experience in technology project management or related roles.

Proven experience managing software development, IT infrastructure, and/or systems integration projects.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).

Basic technical knowledge of networking, cloud computing (Azure/AWS), databases, and system architecture.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Prince2, or ITIL are highly desirable.
