Job Description

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a monthly meter reading plan for domestic, industrial, and commercial consumers based on their respective billing zones.
  • Drive reductions in Disconnection Cases, Billing Errors, and Unbilled Cases through strategic initiatives and vigilant monitoring teams.
  • Oversee the operational, technical, budgetary, human resources, regulatory, and legal aspects of the department, including Sales/UFG reporting and projections.
  • Analyze the Billing Process, focusing on Unregistered Volume realization, Pre-Use Gauge (PUG), Slow and Sticky Meter adjustments, and Test Report Analysis.
  • Conduct regular readings and surveys to determine Premise Status (Occupancy), Tempering/ Theft cases, and rehabilitation efforts.
  • Pursue UFG reduction through initiatives like negative pressures, Tempering/PUG/Slow Meter Adjustments, and Leftover Cases Analysis.
  • Manage Gas Infrastructure Development Corporation (GIDC) collections and reconciliation, as well as tariff and tax matters, RLNG blended rates, customer classification, and defaulter issues.
  • Deliver high-quality services to customers, resolve queries efficiently, and handle disputes related to Prime Minister's Delivery Unit (PMDU), Ombudsman, Court, and Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for UFG reduction and increasing SBU sales.
  • Coordinate policies and measures to control gas theft by introducing new technologies and monitoring teams.
Requirements
  • MBA with at least 9 years of relevant experience, boasting first-hand knowledge of Underground Fuel Gas (UFG) reduction mechanisms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
