Database Expertise Role

The Database Expertise Role will support the development manager in planning and administering product support and development.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work alongside senior business and IT stakeholders to understand client requirements and contribute to solution design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with key clients to define business requirements and design solutions.
  2. Provide functional and technical expertise on Oracle/SQL database management systems.
  3. Manage process redesign and lead technical teams to implement functionality.
  4. Ensure business adoption and effective user training.
  5. Design and deliver Oracle/SQL solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Candidates should have experience working on large-scale Oracle/SQL implementation programs with complex timescales. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and experience with multiple industries is preferred.

A minimum 2.1 Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience is required. A consulting background and experience in at least two end-to-end Oracle HRMS implementation project lifecycles is preferred.

Exposure to Project Management methodologies and strong team leadership skills are also necessary.

Other Qualifications:

Candidates should have a strong understanding of database administration, data modeling, and software development life cycles.

They should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide expert advice on Oracle/SQL technology.
