Job Description
As a Database Infrastructure Specialist, you will manage, design, and optimize databases for our .NET and cloud-based applications. You will be crucial in ensuring our products are optimized for peak performance and reliability. This is a key role for a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong analytical approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and support MS SQL Server databases in various environments, including development, staging, and production.
- Proactively identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks using advanced monitoring and profiling tools to ensure optimal database health and efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database schemas, write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Enforce and maintain database security policies and procedures, including user access management, data encryption, and regular security audits.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator for web and distributed applications. Expert-level knowledge of MS SQL Server deployments, installations, and configurations. Strong command of SQL/T-SQL for query writing, performance tuning, and development of stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
