Our company is looking for a skilled professional to drive the growth of our commodities category. The ideal candidate will have a passion for staples like oil, ghee, or rice and be able to make a significant difference in kiryana stores and the industry.

With a user-friendly app, we are revolutionizing inventory management, allowing stores to order on-demand, receive delivery quickly, and choose from an extensive selection of products at competitive prices.

This role offers the opportunity to work with brands, ensuring reliable product stocking, leading to higher margin sales without additional investment.

We have achieved significant milestones, including becoming the first Pakistani company funded by Y Combinator, securing seed capital and further financing from Kleiner Perkins, and serving over 100,000 stores.

Today, we continue to strive to provide essential services to every store in Pakistan, helping them save money and boost sales.

Key Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in the Rice OR Oil & Ghee category, gained through roles such as Sales, Purchaser, or Category Manager in FMCG companies.
  • Intermediate qualification minimum.
  • A strategic thinker with strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Google Sheets/Excel.
Responsibilities
  • Travel extensively across Pakistan for vendor negotiations, market visits, and procurement-related activities.
  • Procure and ensure inventory availability while building strong supplier relationships.
    • Forecast demand, manage purchase cycles, and prevent stockouts/overstocking.
    • Monitor margins and control pricing.
    • Analyze dashboards and reports to drive category performance.
    • Recommend product additions or delistings based on sales insights.
    • Align suppliers with our mission, share performance reports, and track target achievement.
