Principal Software Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer to lead the development of our software solutions.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting company products, developing new features and updates, and creating customized solutions based on customer needs.

This role involves designing and reviewing new systems being developed by the team, training and mentoring junior resources, providing technical roadmaps and R&D, and assisting junior resources in review/debugging any issues.

You will also be responsible for creating customized reporting for specific clients, communicating with stakeholders, and training off-shore staff members.

The Principal Software Engineer will manage live systems, including deployment and backup on live servers, design and manage databases for new/current systems, and work with the networks team for troubleshooting or configurations.

This role requires monitoring system health from time to time and managing code for all projects being developed, including TFS repo creation, users, and roles management.

Requirements & Skills:
  • 12-15 years of experience in .NET (MVC / Core) development
  • Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET)
  • Hands-on understanding and knowledge of Entity Framework and ADO.net
  • Object Oriented Analysis and Design
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, Axios API client
  • Database Designing and TSQL Programming for MS SQL
  • Practical knowledge of front-end framework like Angular or Vue.js
  • Understanding of Git repository system like TFS or GitHub
  • Knowledge of JIRA (Issue tracking system)
  • Knowledge of REST API development
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms Development
  • Practical knowledge of using Postman for API testing
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of Twilio programmable communication APIs is a plus
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires working from the office.

The shift time is 10am-7pm.

The location is DHA Sector F Rwp.
