**Financial Data Analyst Position**

  • Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving profitability and operational efficiency through advanced data analytics, automated reporting, and predictive modeling.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • P&L Management:
    • Ensure accuracy of financial data during month-end close, focusing on P&L accuracy and efficiency.
    • Conduct detailed P&L analysis, including unit costs, labor control, and business unit performance.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline close processes through automation and data integration.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Design and automate comprehensive management reporting packages, including dashboards to monitor sales, gross margin, expenses, and productivity.
    • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using data visualization tools to provide real-time insights for the Management Team.
    • Perform variance analyses against budgets, forecasts, and historical data to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Act as a business partner to the Management Team, providing actionable insights to optimize profitability.
  • Forecasting and Data Modeling:
    • Build and maintain predictive forecasting models using statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
    • Collaborate with Finance and Management to produce annual budgets and monthly forecasts grounded in quantitative analysis.
    • Leverage advanced analytics to project business performance and assess strategic initiatives.
  • Process Automation and Systems Enhancement:
    • Automate repetitive financial processes, such as report generation and data consolidation, to improve efficiency and accuracy.
    • Identify and implement systems improvements to enhance data accessibility and reporting capabilities.
    • Support special projects focused on cost reduction, profit improvement, and technology integration.
