Job Overview

Contour Software is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Data Quality Assurance Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data pipelines, reports, and dashboards.

This role requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in API testing tools and experience with data validation, regression, and functional testing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for spotting errors and inconsistencies in data and reports, and possess excellent communication skills to clearly explain data quality issues to technical and business teams.

The Data Quality Assurance Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated data quality checks and monitoring processes. They will also be responsible for documenting defects, inconsistencies, and anomalies, and following up with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation scripts for datasets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Lead data validation, regression, and functional testing across data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting systems.
  • Design and implement automated data quality checks and monitoring processes.
  • Document defects, inconsistencies, and anomalies, and follow up with relevant teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, information systems, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a QA or software testing role, preferably within data integration, data migration, or reporting projects.
