Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our organization. This pivotal role involves overseeing the financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and driving strategic financial decision-making.

This position demands a proactive leader with the ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and overall financial strategy effectively. The ideal candidate must have expertise in IFRS, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to unwavering integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Daily Financial Operations: Oversee the finance department's daily operations, including financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.
  • Prepare Financial Statements: Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Ensure Accuracy and Integrity: Ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Financial Strategies: Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
  • Financial Insights: Provide financial insights to senior management and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organizational growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Audit Execution: Ensure smooth execution of audits by liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Digital Transformation: Leverage SAP S/4HANA and Power BI for data-driven decision-making and digital transformation in financial processes.
Requirements:
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA (or equivalent).
  • Candidates Preferred: Candidates with articles from Big4 accounting firms would be preferred.
  • Expertise in IFRS: Expertise in IFRS, auditing, budgeting & forecasting, taxation, and internal controls.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking with a deep understanding of financial regulations.
  • Commitment to Ethics: Commitment to ethical financial practices and corporate governance.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
