Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and managing foundational infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to lead a team of solution architects and cloud engineers. You will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade cloud-based solutions on AWS, creating technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and high/low-level designs.

You will ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework, security, and compliance standards, optimize AWS solutions for cost efficiency, scalability, and performance, and lead a team of solution architects and cloud engineers.

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into AWS solutions. You will conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions, support sales teams by preparing and delivering technical proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), and position AWS solutions effectively against competitors in cloud architecture and migration.

You will oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of AWS resources, ensure adherence to AWS security best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance policies, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation/Terraform for automation, drive DevOps adoption, and streamline operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud-based solutions on AWS
  • Create technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and high/low-level designs
  • Ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework, security, and compliance standards
  • Optimize AWS solutions for cost efficiency, scalability, and performance
  • Lead a team of solution architects and cloud engineers
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and AWS Certified Security/Networking Specialty
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and technical leadership
  • Extensive experience in AWS infrastructure design, deployment, and management
  • Strong understanding of on-premises data centers, cloud architecture principles, and infrastructure best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong background in security, compliance, and AWS Well-Architected Framework
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, and scalability strategies
  • Pre-sales experience with a strong understanding of proposal development and client engagement
  • Experience in technical support, training, and capacity building
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Leadership experience in mentoring and guiding teams of infrastructure professionals
