Job Title: Senior Medical Officer
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to join our team as a Senior Medical Officer. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the way in clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Assessment and Care: Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments of patients to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Clinical Decision Making: Formulate diagnoses based on lab results and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Medication Management: Calculate correct dosages and provide medication prescriptions as needed.
- Follow-up and Evaluation: Regularly follow up on patients to evaluate their condition and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Referral and Consultation: Refer patients to other healthcare facilities as necessary and participate in educational activities to enhance your competencies.
- Infection Control: Adhere to infection control practices to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Education and Experience: MBBS degree from a recognized university, with additional diplomas or MCPS certifications preferred. Minimum 6 years post-MBBS experience, or 3 years with additional qualifications.
- Skillset: Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to counsel patients and families effectively.
- Documentation: Proficient in written communication for patient care documentation.
