Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Web Developer to join our team. As a key member of the technical team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining new web applications using Ruby on Rails.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in software development and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Web Application Development: Design and develop new web applications using Ruby on Rails framework.
  • Existing Application Maintenance: Troubleshoot and fix issues with existing web applications to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ruby Code Maintenance: Write and maintain reliable Ruby code to support the development of web applications.
  • Back-end Component Creation: Develop back-end components to support the front-end team's user-facing elements.
  • Bottleneck Identification and Fixing: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs to improve application efficiency.
  • Integration and API Management: Integrate user-facing elements designed by the front-end team and connect applications with additional web servers while maintaining APIs.
Requirements
  • Ruby on Rails Experience: Have experience working with Ruby on Rails framework and its ecosystem.
  • Clean Code Writing: Be able to write clean, efficient, and well-structured Ruby code.
  • Code Versioning Tools: Be proficient in using code versioning tools such as Git, GitHub, SVN, and Mercurial.
  • MVC, Mocking, RESTful, ORM Familiarity: Have a good understanding of MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM concepts.
