Senior Manager of Software Engineering

As a senior leader, you will play a pivotal role in guiding multiple technical teams and driving the advancement of technology.

  • Provide strategic direction and coaching to teams of software engineers working on complex projects.

  • Identify and mitigate potential issues to ensure successful project execution.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, combined with 5+ years of applied experience, and 2+ years of experience leading technologists to manage complex technical items.
  • Hands-on experience as an engineering leader, managing multiple teams and providing technical guidance.
  • Expertise in coding and development using Python, Java, Microservices, RDBMS, and NoSQL DBs.
  • Proven track record of leading teams of technologists and guiding them towards achieving business objectives.
  • Experience in hiring, developing, and recognizing talent, as well as in-depth knowledge of the services industry and their IT systems.
  • Practical cloud native experience and expertise in technology disciplines such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
