Debt Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recovering owed money by planning and implementing effective strategies.

Your primary objective will be to contact debtors and guide them through the payment process. This will involve handling customers' queries or complaints, negotiating payoff deadlines and payment plans, and building trust with debtors.

To achieve this goal, you will need to identify gaps in the system and recommend solutions that improve our recovery processes. Your excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, combined with your ability to work effectively under pressure, make you an ideal candidate for this role.

In addition to your technical skills, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work effectively under pressure, Computer Literacy, MS Office (Basic)
  • Experience: 1+ years in a similar role
