Electrical Design Engineer - Solar PV Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in solar PV projects to fill a key role within our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive and innovative design solutions for commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects.
  • Create detailed system designs and optimize PV installation layouts using PVSyst software.
  • Select appropriate inverters and PV products based on performance and reliability criteria.
  • Perform circuit breaker, transformer, and cable sizing calculations to ensure safe and efficient system operation.
  • Design distribution schemes, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and cable laying layouts for large-scale PV installations.
  • Assist the project team in preparing detailed technical proposals and bill of quantities (BOQs).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in electrical design engineering.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard IEC and IEEE specifications and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst software, and MS Office applications.
  • Strong technical writing skills to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingsness to travel domestically and internationally for project-related activities.
