Job Position

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to fill the role of Ruby on Rails Web Developer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, design patterns, and MVC architecture.

About the Job

  • Design and develop features in our existing product, adhering to guidelines and best practices.
  • Develop frontend and backend components.
  • Create REST APIs for seamless integration.
  • Maintain high-quality code through rigorous testing and unit testing.
  • Participate in scrum meetings to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support and maintain software applications at various stages.
  • Pursue research and development to stay updated on new technologies and trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including OOAD, design patterns, and data structures.
  • At least 2 years' experience with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML5, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS systems.
  • Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
  • Proficiency in source control using Git and unit testing tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and a responsive team player.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
