The position is for a Java Backend Software Engineer to develop and maintain web applications.

Job Description:
  • We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Java Backend Software Engineer.
  • This role involves developing, deploying, and maintaining backend systems using Java frameworks like Spring Boot.
  • Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing RESTful APIs for client-server communication.
  • Collaboration with front-end developers is crucial for integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • In addition, this role requires the ability to design responsive user interfaces using HTML5 and Bootstrap.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing backend databases to store and retrieve application data.
  • A strong understanding of coding best practices, standards, and test-driven development methodologies is essential.
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to debug and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, and optimize application performance.
  • Maintenance and improvement of existing web applications by adding new features and ensuring compatibility with emerging technologies is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Lastly, the selected candidate will participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration (CI/CD) processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and MySQL.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, database management, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
