Notice Analyst Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Notice Analyst to handle regulatory, tax, and compliance notices for individuals and businesses. The ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and responding to IRS and state tax notices or other regulatory correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret tax notices and respond accordingly
  • Prepare draft replies, supporting documents, and maintain comprehensive notice records and audit trails
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Conduct tax and legal research using reliable resources
  • Coordinate with internal teams for notice resolution
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely responses to all notices and compliance communications
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • ACCA / CA / CFA partially qualified or equivalent finance/accounting background
  • Prior experience in handling tax notices (US IRS experience strongly preferred)
  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to draft formal letters and responses
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with US tax systems (Forms, IRS portals, deadlines, procedures)
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and payroll is a plus
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Urdu) preferred
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
