Mobile Architect Job Description

Synopsis:

This is a key position for those skilled in software development architecture. As a mobile architect, you will focus on the creation and implementation of design solutions that meet business requirements.

Apart from technical expertise, effective communication with stakeholders and team members is crucial to ensure projects are completed within agreed-upon timeframes.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing mobile applications using various technologies like Android, iOS, Flutter, and React Native.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the presales phase to provide valuable input on user experience design and review wireframes from a technical standpoint.
  • Create necessary artifacts, such as Solutions Design Documents, to guide the development team before actual work begins.
  • Evaluate the design's adherence during the development phase and document any changes.
  • Train developers and serve as the sole point of contact for stakeholders and the team on all technical matters.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science from a reputable institution.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience preferably in Android, iOS, Flutter, and React Native.
  • Familiarity with native build tools like XCode, Gradle.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, document request models, and offline storage.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience making significant architecture & design decisions.
  • Ability to work in diverse/multiple stakeholder environments.
  • Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
  • In-depth understanding of coding languages and operating systems along with sound knowledge of databases.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and software vendors involved in the development process.
  • Capable of analyzing and identifying potential short and long-term risks that may cause technical issues and impede business operations in the future.
  • Solid working skills with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.
