Senior Software Engineer (Backend Developer)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a backend developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks
  • Write high-quality code and unit tests to ensure functionality, security, and performance
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
  • Tune your code for enhanced security and performance
  • Maintain systems by fixing any existing issues and updating issue tracking software
  • Provide regular status updates and communicate with clients effectively
  • Control versions of your code and research new technologies to stay up-to-date
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-7 years of related experience in the professional industry
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft technologies, tools, and platforms
  • Extensive experience with Azure and AWS is a must
  • Knowledge and experience in writing backend components and Restful APIs
  • Understanding of security standards and compliance
  • Experience with different relational and schemaless databases such as Oracle/SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Creating database structures for required functionality
  • Experience with writing unit tests and ensuring at least 90% test coverage
  • Knowledge of and experience with GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts and design principles
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality
  • Strong presentation skills and influence among team members
