About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical, client, and customer relations skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide escalation assistance to support engineers for internal issues.
  • Design and facilitate architectural platform training and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Elevate potential engineering or procedural issues to management personnel.
  • Develop training programs to promote Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.
  • Collaborate with other teams on monitoring additions and changes.
  • Troubleshoot trouble tickets related to various network and security technologies from vendors like Arista, Aruba, Cisco, F5, Juniper, Meraki, Palo Alto, and Riverbed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Able to work with minimal direction and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Capacity to work well within a team environment.
  • Strong problem management, communication, leadership, and mentorship skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience troubleshooting Cisco devices including Nexus switches, Router and Switch Networks, Wireless Networks, Security Products, and WAN Accelerators.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

  • Familiarity with F5 Load Balancers, Juniper Routers and Switches, Arista Network Switches, Riverbed Steelhead WAN Accelerators, Aruba Wireless Networks, and Palo Alto Firewalls is a plus.
  • A college degree in Engineering or a similar discipline is desired but not required. Expert-level experience may be substituted for a college degree or certification.
  • CCNA, CCNP R&S, or CCIE R&S certifications are preferred.
