Android Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform with expertise in Android SDK and different versions of Android.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, leveraging RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration.
  • Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch.
