Automation Project Lead

This is a challenging opportunity to lead automation projects from initiation through execution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Evaluate and select the most suitable DCS and PLC systems for each project, considering factors like performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Directly supervise project engineers, providing technical guidance and feedback to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Perform thorough design reviews to guarantee that all design documents and drawings are accurate, complete, and in compliance with relevant standards.
  • Maintain effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Ensure the maintenance and implementation of quality management systems (QMS) across projects.
  • Participate in the internal testing and commissioning of DCS and PLC systems to validate their functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and equipment according to project specifications.
  • Analyze project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and oversee engineer setup.
