Senior Polish Linguist

We are seeking an experienced Polish Language Expert to join our team in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. As a key member of our interpreting and translation services, you will work with various sectors including healthcare, legal, education, and immigration.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information accurately and efficiently. They will be responsible for interpreting and translating from Polish to English and vice versa, ensuring 100% accuracy and understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original 'source' language, then reproducing the speech into the 'target' language with 100% accuracy.
• Provide accurate and efficient interpreting services for people using legal, health, and local government services.
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence.
• Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
• Deal with highly confidential information.
• Liaise between the service user and service provider.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English or another language.
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL.
• Any other interpreting related qualification.
• Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
• Must sign and agree to a surety bond.
• Must sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
