English Language Assessor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled English language assessor to join our organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting English language assessments, monitoring call quality, and providing coaching and mentoring to staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct English language assessments for new and existing employees, including coordinating with external candidates.
  2. Monitor daily call quality and work collaboratively as a team member to ensure quality service delivery.
  3. Provide coaching and mentoring on spoken English, vocabulary, and pronunciation to improve staff English skills through feedback.
  4. Deliver customer service training specific to UK culture and language.
  5. Conduct ongoing training and development to upskill employees' English language standards.
  6. Responsible for QA of transcribed files and developing auto-scored English language proficiency assessments.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  1. A graduate degree in English Literature, Applied Linguistics, or related fields, with a focus on language proficiency assessment/testing and research.
  2. At least 4-5 years of experience in teaching English, preferably in IELTS/PTE or Cambridge English exams.
  3. IELTS/CEFR certification, PTE, language certificates, and British Council experience are required.
  4. Experience in coaching on accent and grammar is an advantage.
Essential Skills:
  1. Proficient in written and spoken English.
  2. Familiarity with UK English dialect.
  3. Dedicated, quick learner, team player, solution-oriented.
