Accounting Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team.
  • As an accounting specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing daily transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Transaction Processing: Prepare, review, and process daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  2. Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  3. Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations, including bank and credit card reconciliations.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate with senior finance members to assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  5. Tax Compliance: Assist with tax preparation and ensure timely submission of tax filings.
  6. Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations of financial data.
  7. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting department.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Basic knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
