Accounting Role Overview

This position is an opportunity to contribute your accounting expertise to a company's financial operations.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Additionally, the role involves producing daily and weekly reports, preparing monthly management accounts, and leading the monthly review on the balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records, including reconciliations and control account balances.
  • Produce daily and weekly reports to support business decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Lead the monthly review of the balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • CA or ACCA/CIMA qualified with a minimum of 4/5 years' experience.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to develop positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Results-oriented, with a 'can do' attitude.
