Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead and manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and bookkeeping.

The successful applicant will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, capable of overseeing financial activities, ensuring accuracy, and driving financial strategy to support business growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations:
    • Oversee and manage the financial operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
    • Reconcile financial accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Monitor cash flow and manage collections to maintain healthy financial operations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Develop, manage, and monitor budgets for various departments and projects.
    • Prepare financial forecasts and reports to support strategic planning and decision-making.
    • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual performance, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Invoicing:
    • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
    • Monitor and track outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
    • Implement and maintain invoicing procedures to enhance efficiency.
    • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
    • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial accounts.
    • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Handle all aspects of US tax compliance, including preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns.
    • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
    • Provide guidance on tax planning and strategy to optimize tax positions and minimize liabilities.
    • Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance and key metrics.
    • Assist with audits and prepare necessary documentation for external auditors.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a finance professional or similar role with expertise in accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, and bookkeeping.
  • Hands-on experience with US tax regulations and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
