Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in medical billing? As a Sales Specialist Medical Billing, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, maintaining relationships with existing ones, and ensuring timely processing of medical billing. This is a full-time hybrid role with some work-from-home flexibility.
About the Role ResponsibilitiesThis role involves understanding medical terminology, analyzing denials, working with ICD-10 codes, managing insurance claims (especially Medicare), and ensuring clients' revenue cycles operate smoothly. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities in the healthcare sector through cold calling, emailing, networking, and referrals.
- Prospecting new potential clients via outbound calling.
- Managing and growing your business acumen to bring in additional business to meet activity, revenue, and margin targets.
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations, proposals, and contracts that demonstrate the value of our services.
- Negotiating sales terms and closing deals professionally and independently.
- Anticipating and overcoming customer objections to close sales effectively.
- Tracking and reporting sales activities, pipeline, and revenue using sales reports.
- 2-3 years of experience in the Medical Billing industry in a similar (Sales/Business Development) role.
- Basic understanding of the medical billing process, RCM, and the US healthcare system.
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Experience in B2B Sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work remotely and independently.
