Software Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

Rigorous testing and validation processes are the backbone of our software development approach. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify defects and improve overall product quality.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and effective issue management.
  3. Perform regression testing to ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain test environments and test data.
  4. Participate in design and code reviews to provide expert feedback on quality issues and optimize product performance.
  5. Conduct thorough performance and security testing to safeguard against vulnerabilities and ensure seamless user experiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is essential for this role.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing tools, including industry-standard frameworks and software, is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and teamwork abilities, are required for success in this position.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and knowledge of SQL and scripting languages are highly valued assets.
