Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network and System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for resolving customer issues through email, phone, and remote support sessions, adhering to set SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Configuration and Troubleshooting: Set up, test, administer, and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
  • Collaboration with Vendors: Collaborate with major networking vendors, including CISCO, Ubiquiti, Ribbon, and others, to resolve complex network-related issues.
  • Monitoring and Tracking: Monitor and track services and monitoring tools, such as Zabbix, Netbox, and others, to ensure prompt detection and resolution of network anomalies.
  • Documentation and Diagrams: Create and update network documentation/diagrams for network implementations, facilitating clear communication and efficient troubleshooting.
  • VOIP and Switches: Deploy, set up, and troubleshoot VOIP phones and related services, as well as manage, administer, test, and troubleshoot CISCO Catalyst switches and ISR appliances systems.
  • Virtualization and Server Management: Work with virtualization technologies, i.e., VMWare, Citrix, and Hyper-V, and set up and administer Active Directories and server roles.
  • Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain Google Workspace, Exchange, IIS, SharePoint, Print Servers, and SQL, ensuring timely updates and patches.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Quality Assurance: Possess a strong analytical mindset and quality assurance skills to ensure accurate and timely issue resolution.
  • Adaptability and Teamwork: Demonstrate adaptability and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Qualifications and Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering-related studies (CS, Telecom, Electrical, etc.).
  • Experience and Certifications: Possess fresh to 1 year of similar experience and CCNA and MCSE certifications, preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, required for effective collaboration and issue escalation.
