Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Collections Expert to join our team. As a key member of our financial performance team, you will be responsible for managing collection activities and ensuring timely resolution of queries/disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage debt collection on assigned country portfolios using established business rules, processes, and methodology.
  • Prioritize and manage a challenging workload while maintaining high levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all communications – internal and external – are accurately documented.
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting and account reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with the collections team to drive best practices in collections activities, improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and minimize aging debt.

Accounts Receivable Activities:

  • Close unresolved/unidentified receipts on a timely basis.
  • Apply receipts accurately and timely to each customer's account.
  • Manual journal and adjustment postings (refunds, tax adjustments, bank charges, discounts, small amount write-offs).
  • Month-end activities – cash reconciliations and reporting.
  • Assist in various requests associated with cash/receipts during walkthroughs and audit.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Collections experience is essential.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in Excel are necessary.
