Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer for High-Rise Buildings

We are seeking a skilled electrical engineer to oversee the execution of electrical works for high-rise building projects. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Work Execution: Oversee the execution of electrical works including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, earthing, ELV systems, and panel installations.
  • Site Coordination: Coordinate and supervise daily site activities to ensure adherence to design, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Design Review: Review and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and ensure accurate execution on site.
  • Activity Planning: Assist in planning and sequencing of electrical activities to avoid conflicts and delays.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and other site engineers to resolve design or execution issues.
  • Material Management: Monitor material consumption and verify availability as per BOQ and approved shop drawings.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, authority regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and update management accordingly.
  • System Commissioning: Support testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
  • Inspections: Participate in internal and external inspections and ensure timely closure of NCRs and snags.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: DAE or BS in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in execution of electrical works for high-rise buildings.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical drawings, standards, and execution practices.
  • Mep Systems: Knowledge of overall MEP systems and interdependencies in construction.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering software.
