Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our Backend team in building new features for Fleet Safety and AI Dashcam software.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an exceptional Engineering Manager to join our team and make a significant impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to think strategically.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define and implement technology vision for fleet & driver safety features.
  • Manage product and business outcomes of engineering teams.
  • Develop long-term product roadmap with product teams.
  • Lead technical design discussions with multiple teams.
  • Execute and launch high-quality functionalities for internal/external customers.
  • Develop and improve best practices and coding standards.
  • Hire, manage and develop a diverse team of engineers.
  • Contribute to development tasks as needed to assist teams with release commitments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or related domains.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering management.
  • Experience working with high-throughput and low-latency systems.
  • Strong technical depth and breadth in agile product development, distributed systems, and cloud computing.
  • Ability to perform architectural work and define requirements based on business issues.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, managing, and promoting skilled engineers.
  • Solid understanding of what makes for a strong, healthy, and productive engineering culture.
