
Commercial Growth Strategist

The primary objective of this role is to elevate the company's visibility and identify business opportunities in the software development sector. This position involves creating compelling business presentations, evaluating potential clients, developing targeted business cases, qualifying and engaging with clients, maintaining and expanding market presence, analyzing competitors, markets, and trends, and compiling comprehensive reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging business presentations and proposal drafts.
- Evaluate potential clients and develop tailored business cases for our services.
- Qualify and engage with clients to propose our services.
- Maintain and expand our market presence through core service offerings.
- Analyze competitors, markets, and trends to produce thorough Business Intelligence Reports on a regular basis.
- Compile an exhaustive list of prospect data across various market segments.
- Organize and maintain online listings, directories, and opportunities.
- Synthesize weekly reports detailing web traffic, direct contact activities, and online advertising/emailing statistics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Sales Skills: With 100% of B2B buyers consulting the web throughout the buying process, marketing must remain proactive from initial engagement to closing deals.
- Social Media Skills: The rise of social media has transformed the buyer-seller dynamic. Those actively engaging with social media can better understand its impact on traditional sales methods.
- Journalism/ Storytelling Skills: As buyers increasingly rely on the web for information, there is a growing need for captivating content that addresses their needs.
- Process Design Skills: Marketing automation adoption is still in its infancy, with significant opportunities for productivity gains through process changes enabled by technology.
- Data/ Analytics Skills: Technological advancements have made vast amounts of data available about buyer and seller behavior.
- Domain Expertise: Our products are of little interest to customers; they care about their problems. We must bridge this gap by understanding both realms.
