The Centre of Oncological Research in Surgery aims to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration to drive research breakthroughs and improve cancer prevention, screening, and treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a prospective Pakistan Brain Tumor Epidemiology Study
  • Oversee a Biorepository
  • Conduct research in surgical oncology
  • Expand existing areas of research in regenerative medicine and stem cell biology
  • Collaborate with post-docs, clinical fellows, and PhD students
  • Develop and submit extramural grant proposals
  • Establish and maintain multi-disciplinary collaborations with faculty from across various institutions
  • Design and deliver specific modules/courses for graduate students in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine
  • Ensure thesis development, publications, funding procurement, budgeting, and compliance with laboratory and ethical protocols
  • Present regular progress reports to senior management at periodic intervals
Requirements
