Academic publishing is a dynamic industry that requires proactive and detail-oriented professionals to manage high-impact research publications. As a leading name in this field, we are seeking a skilled Publication Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in academic publishing, journal submission, or research support services. They will be responsible for managing the end-to-end submission of research manuscripts across selected journals, coordinating with authors, reviewers, and Editorial Board Members to ensure timely processing of manuscripts.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing submissions from start to finish
  • Coordinating with authors, reviewers, and Editorial Board Members
  • Tracking progress and expediting peer-review and acceptance timelines
  • Ensuring all documents are formatted according to target journal guidelines
  • Drafting or reviewing cover letters, responses to reviewers, and submission materials
  • Maintaining accurate records of submission timelines, communications, and revision cycles

Requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (such as Publishing, Communications, English, or a scientific discipline)
  • Prior experience in academic publishing, journal submission, or research support services
  • Familiarity with Scopus/Web of Science/ISI indexed journals and submission portals
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
