The Department of Surgery offers comprehensive and sub-specialty care in various surgical areas with a strong commitment to teaching and research. Our team provides formal structured undergraduate teaching, postgraduate residency, and fellowship programs.

As a Surgery Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the academic functions of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-operative evaluation of patients
  • Manage post-operative care for surgical patients
  • Document patient information in a timely manner and communicate effectively with patients and their families
  • Remain available on premises during on-call shifts and respond promptly to calls
  • Stay updated on infection control procedures, standard protocols, and clinical practices.

To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • A degree from an accredited medical institution
  • At least one year of post-graduation experience from a reputable institution
  • A valid license from the relevant medical council
  • Willingness to work shift duties
